How It Works

The NovaDL Browser Extension seamlessly integrates with your favorite Chromium-based browsers. Once installed, it sits in the background and automatically detects playable video content on any web page. Click a button, and it instantly intercepts the download link and hands it over to the NovaDL app for high-speed, concurrent processing.

Installation Guide (Developer Mode)

  1. Download and extract the .zip file to a permanent folder on your computer (e.g., Documents/NovaDL_Extension).
  2. Open your browser's extension management page (e.g., type chrome://extensions/ in Chrome or edge://extensions/ in Edge).
  3. Turn on Developer mode (usually a toggle switch in the top right corner of the extensions page).
  4. Click the "Load unpacked" button that appears at the top.
  5. Select the folder where you extracted the extension files.
  6. Done! The NovaDL extension is now installed and active. It will automatically detect videos and intercept download links.
